Travis Kelce loves Taylor Swift, but his love has limits (economic ones)… at least when it comes to bidding for an acoustic guitar signed by her girlfriend.
The iconic Kansas City Chiefs tight end is getting ready for his 13th season with the team, hoping that he can get his fourth Super Bowl ring alongside superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Kelce has a legacy that will put him in the NFL Hall of Fame and he pretty much has nothing to prove in the game of football, but he still wants to leave with at least another championship after his team got blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22, with the Ohio native having one of his worst performances in the Super Bowl.

Did the Chiefs Miss an Opportunity With Their Schedule Release Video?
While Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs get ready for the start of the 2025 regular season – which will start September 5th against Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo, Brazil – the tight end was in attendance for the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation’s Golf Classic Gala in Las Vegas. The organization’s goal is to improve the lives of children by supporting initiatives that focus on health, wellness, communities in need of resources and other charitable causes.
Even though Taylor Swift was not in attendance, she did have a lovely gesture by donating an acoustic guitar that was auctioned. An attendee posted a video of Kelce with a bidding paddle in hand as an auctionner fields offers for the very valuable item.
As the asking bid rose, Travis changed his mind and withdrew from pursuing the guitar, saying “I just realized I have that already”, which made the attendees laugh, including Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
The Chiefs road to glory is full of playoff teams
The Kansas City Chiefs are the current AFC champions, and the team pretends to keep it that way, although they have a tough schedule for the 2025 regular season, including 10 games against opponentes that made the playoffs in 2024.
Week 2 is so far one of the most exciting and anticipating games of the Chiefs and of all the NFL, when the team lead by Patrick Mahomes battles the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium. The home fans would love nothing more than to see their team avenge the blow out that ocurred at Super Bowl LIX.
The Chiefs will host the Denver Broncos on December 25, marking the third-straight season the club will play on Christmas Day. Kansas City will close out the regular season by taking on the Raiders in Las Vegas. The date and time are to be determined.
