Última chamada para o título: Sporting e Benfica lutam pelo campeonato na última jornada da Liga

A edição 2024/25 da Liga Portugal Betclic chega à 34.ª e derradeira jornada com o cenário mais emocionante possível, com SportingBenfica com os mesmos 79 pontos e ambos com legítimas aspirações a conquistarem o campeonato. Depois de uma temporada intensa, com a luta pelo primeiro lugar constantemente ao rubro, chegou a hora de proclamar um vencedor e entregar ao troféu àquele que terminar a competição no primeiro lugar que, ao dia de hoje, pertence aos leões, por terem vantagem no confronto direto com as águias, naquele que é o primeiro critério de desempate em caso de igualdade pontual.

Classificação da Liga Portugal Betclic à 33.ª jornada

No sábado, pelas 18h00, a equipa orientada por Rui Borges vai receber o Vitória SC, ao passo que a formação de Bruno Lage irá visitar o reduto do SC Braga. As contas do título, essas, são fáceis de fazer. Para ser campeão, o Sporting precisará, nesta última ronda do campeonato, de obter um resultado igual ou melhor do que aquele que o Benfica alcançar diante dos arsenalistas. Isto é, se as águias ganharem, os leões estão obrigados a ganhar para fazerem a festa; se o rival empatar, ao emblema verde e branca bastará o empate frente ao conjunto de Guimarães; por fim, se o Benfica perder com o SC Braga, o Sporting poder-se-á dar ao luxo de também sair derrotado e, mesmo assim, conquistar o 21.º título da sua história.

Por seu turno, o conjunto da Luz estará obrigado a fazer um melhor resultado que o dos leões para se sagrar campeão. Ou seja, se o Sporting perder, ao Benfica bastará o empate para conquistar o 39.º campeonato, enquanto que, se se verificar um empate em Alvalade, as águias terão de levar de vencida a equipa do SC Braga. Os pupilos de Lage não podem, em circunstância alguma, saírem derrotados da receção aos minhotos se quiserem fazer a festa do título.
