Ancelotti, novo técnico da seleção brasileira (Divulgação – Real Madrid)
Vampeta não tem dúvidas sobre o principal camisa 9 do futebol brasileiro na atualidade. Caso Ancelotti tenha o desejo de escalar um centroavante de ofício na seleção, o ex-jogador vê Pedro em vantagem. Além da experiência adquirida na Copa do Mundo de 2022, a ausência de outros concorrentes é um dos trunfos para que o atacante do Flamengo seja titular com o italiano.
“É um jogador de seleção e jogou Copa do Mundo. É um atleta que não deixa a desejar em nada. É um cara muito centrado na profissão. Eu tenho certeza que ele vai querer sempre estar na melhor forma física para ajudar o Flamengo e ir, de novo, para a seleção.”, disse o Velho Vamp, no Bate-Pronto, da Jovem Pan.
“Ele, em forma, é titular do Flamengo e também da seleção brasileira. Eu não vejo um número 9 e homem de área que seja melhor que o Pedro do futebol brasileiro.”, acrescentou.
Vampeta aprova decisão de Filipe Luís
Por opção de Filipe Luís, Pedro não começou jogando diante da LDU. Apesar da importância do confronto pela Libertadores, Vampeta avalia que uma decisão precipitada do treinador poderia causar uma nova lesão, motivo pelo qual a decisão foi totalmente compreendida.
“Há muita reincidência quando você tem essa lesão de cruzado. A temporada ainda é longa pra caramba. O Flamengo tem esse leque de opções para não desgastar o Pedro. Ele ficou quase um ano sem jogar. Eu concordo com o Filipe Luís. Tá todo mundo de olho no departamento médico. Tem que ter um pouco de paciência porque não é uma lesão qualquer. Não vai faltar oportunidade e confiança.”, prosseguiu.
Conselho para Gerson
Assim como Pedro, Gerson é outro jogador do Flamengo que pode agradar Ancelotti. Com ampla propriedade para falar do assunto, Vampeta sugere que o ‘Coringa’ atue na posição de segundo volante e, consequentemente, tenha menos concorrência na disputa pela titularidade na seleção.
“Eu prefiro o Gerson jogando se segundo homem (de meio-campo) e o Luiz Araújo na posição do Gerson. Naquela ‘praia’ que o Gerson joga no Flamengo tem o Raphinha, Savinho, Luiz Henrique, Rodrygo…”
“É melhor que o Gerson brigue pela posição de segundo homem do meio-campo que não tem tantos jogadores. Tem o Bruno Guimarães, André, Paquetá… o Gerson, de segundo homem, é titular tranquilo de segundo homem e pode ser na seleção de camisa 8. Se eu sou o Gerson, eu converso com o Filipe Luís.”, opinou.
