Vampeta elege time que pode surpreender na Libertadores: “Dá para encarar”

Vampeta avaliou o nível atual do SPFC e decretou que a equipe comandada pelo argentino Luis Zubeldía pode sonhar com as competições mata-matas nesta temporada. No entanto, o ex-volante descartou a possibilidade do time ser competitivo por taça nos pontos corridos.

“No Brasileirão está uma casinha acima da zona de rebaixamento. Time já classificado (na Liberta), isso é o importante. Dá tranquilidade para o Zubeldía trabalhar, a temporada é longa e tem muita coisa pela frente. O São Paulo não tem esse elenco todo para disputar título em Campeonato Brasileiro, mas no mata-mata dá para encarar. Vai ganhando personalidade e entrosamento”, analisou Vampeta.

O Tricolor Paulista está muito bem na Copa Libertadores da América, com 11 pontos e classificação garantida no grupo D. No entanto, a campanha no Brasileirão Série A é muito instável, com apenas nove pontos e a 16ª posição neste momento.

O próximo jogo será contra o Grêmio, neste sábado (17), às 21h (de Brasília), no MorumBIS, pela nona rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro.

Vampeta elege grande força do Brasil

Vampeta acredita que Flamengo e Palmeiras são os grandes favoritos nas principais competições em 2025. Os dois clubes com os maiores investimentos do Brasil possuem fortes elencos e estão brigando ponto a ponto pela liderança do Brasileirão.

Na Libertadores, o Verdão estão com 100% de aproveitamento e lidera de forma geral, enquanto o Rubro-Negro teve problemas na fase de grupos, mas depende apenas de si para avançar.

O comentarista ressaltou que o SPFC não está entre os favoritos, porém pode ameaçar as grandes forças: “Tem camisa, é tricampeão dessa competição, tricampeão Mundial. São Paulo pode se igualar a qualquer um aqui na América do Sul”, garantiu ele, no programa “Bate-Pronto”, da Jovem Pan.

O futebol brasileiro conta com cinco tricampeões da Libertadores: SPFC, Santos, Grêmio, Palmeiras e Flamengo. Neste ano, três dos citados (Tricolor Paulista, o Alviverde e o Mengão) têm a chance de se tornar o primeiro tetracampeão entre os brasileiros.
