Antonio Brown‘s post-NFL spiral continued Friday night as the former All-Pro wide receiver was arrested following a chaotic brawl at a boxing event in Florida hosted by Kick streamer Adin Ross. The incident, which escalated from an attempted chain-snatching to alleged gunfire, is the latest in a growing list of public controversies involving the ex-NFL star.
According to eyewitness accounts and limited video footage circulating online, Brown was involved in an altercation after an individual tried to snatch a chain from around his neck.
As the confrontation unfolded, security intervened to break up the scuffle. In the melee, Brown reportedly lashed out, kicking one of the security guards who had attempted to assist him.

The situation escalated dramatically when Brown allegedly pulled out a firearm, chased the person who tried to rob him, and fired a shot into the air.
Moments later, law enforcement arrived and Brown was taken into custody. Despite the seriousness of the allegations, he was released shortly after and returned to the event-where Ross’s livestream continued rolling.
Brown blames CTE during bizarre post-arrest livestream appearance
Brown’s post-release appearance on Ross’ livestream raised eyebrows as much for what he didn’t say as what he did. The former wide receiver made only one significant comment about the incident:
“CTE got me blacked out,” he said, prompting laughter from those around him.
Though the comment was met with amusement by the room, the underlying issue is anything but lighthearted. Brown has repeatedly referenced the possibility that he suffers from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative brain condition associated with repeated head trauma.
The speculation stems in part from a brutal 2016 playoff hit delivered by Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict-a moment many believe marked the beginning of Brown’s highly publicized behavioral decline.
Once considered among the NFL‘s elite, Brown was a four-time All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowl selection during his career from 2010 to 2021.
He led the league in receptions, yards, and touchdowns at various points and was widely regarded as one of the most explosive wideouts of his era.
