O Craque Neto foi incisivo ao bancar que apenas Luiz Felipe Scolari está acima de Abel Ferreira em relação aos técnicos que já trabalharam no futebol brasileiro. A opinião foi manifestada no “Os Donos da Bola” desta sexta-feira (16), na Band.
Na concepção do apresentador, Felipão acabou ficando ‘esquecido’ com o tempo, foi ‘manchado’ pelo 7 a 1, mas é um treinador histórico em solo nacional, tendo inclusive construído trajetória vitoriosa no próprio Palmeiras, onde levantou o primeiro título de Libertadores do clube.
“O único cara que é melhor do que o Abel Ferreira, pra mim, é o Felipão. Mas o Felipão é um treinador que a gente não fala muito dele pela idade, por ser rabugento. O Abel Ferreira é monstruoso”, opinou o Craque Neto.

Desde que desembarcou no Verdão há pouco mais de quatro anos, Abel Ferreira acumula 10 títulos, e neste cenário, está empatado com Oswaldo Brandão como o recordista de títulos na história do Palmeiras, mas o lendário comandante acumulou mais de uma passagem pelo clube palestrino.
Nesta temporada, ele terá quatro torneios para se colocar no topo deste ranking, após sucumbir no certame estadual: Brasileirão, Libertadores, Copa do Brasil e Mundial de Clubes.

A exemplo de outras oportunidades, o Craque Neto reafirmou o desejo de ver Abel Ferreira no comando técnico da seleção brasileira. Apesar de enaltecer todo o currículo de Carlo Ancelotti, o colocando como um dos melhores da história geral, ele disse que optaria pelo treinador do Palmeiras no escrete.
Em meio aos rumores sobre a ‘novela’ envolvendo o comandante da seleção, o nome de Abel Ferreira chegou a ser ventilado como opção para a CBF, mas o Palmeiras, através da presidente Leila Pereira, disse não ter sido consultado.
