Taschlerovi se do Itálie do skupiny trenéra Mattea Zanniho přestěhovali na konci roku 2019 a postupně se posouvali vzhůru, jejich zatím životní sezonou byla zima 2022/2023, kdy skončili šestí v Evropě a osmí na světě.
V následujících letech se ale dále výsledkově nezlepšovali, a i když po uplynulé sezoně s desátým místem v Evropě a třináctým na světě tvrdili, že zatím žádné změny nechystají, nakonec se rozhodli pro odchod z Itálie.
„Těšíme se na náš nový domov a příležitosti, které přijdou do našeho života po rozhodnutí udělat krok vpřed, které jsme přijali s trenérským týmem v Egně,“ uvedli v krátkém prohlášení na svých sociálních sítích 25letý Filip a o dva roky mladší Natálie Taschlerovi.
Český krasobruslařský svaz pak doplnil, že jejich novým domovem bude Finsko, a skupina Maurizia Margaglia. Bývalý italský tanečník na ledě získal s Barborou Fusar-Poliovou na začátku tisíciletí světový titul i olympijský bronz, po kariéře se vrhl na trenérskou dráhu.
V Helsinkách koučuje mimojiné finský pár Yuka Oriharaová, Juho Pirinen, kteří jsou s Taschlerovými velmi dobří přátelé a po světovém šampionátu podnikli společný výlet do New Yorku.
Margaglio v Helsinkách působí v trenérské dvojici s Francouzem Neilem Brownem, který má k Česku hodně blízko. Ve dvojici s Lucií Myslivečkovou reprezentoval české krasobruslení na třech evropských a jednom světovém šampionátu.
Margagliova skupina zároveň spolupracuje i s trenérským týmem v Egně, kde se nadále připravují bývalí juniorští mistři světa Kateřina a Daniel Mrázkovi. Oba české páry zvládly kvalifikaci na olympijské hry v Turíně i světový šampionát, který bude příští rok hostit Praha.
