O Fluminense não conseguiu quebrar o jejum de 20 anos sem vitória no Alfredo Jaconi. Neste domingo, a equipe empatou em 1 a 1 com o Juventude e perdeu a chance de entrar no G-4 do Campeonato Brasileiro.
Apesar de não ter saído com os três pontos, o técnico Renato Gaúcho voltou a destacar o desempenho do time, que teve mais controle da partida, principalmente no primeiro tempo.
— Eu gostei da postura da minha equipe, teve bastante movimentação e posse de bola. Se alguém merecia a vitória hoje, com todo respeito à equipe do Juventude, seria o Fluminense. Então, é sempre muito difícil para todo mundo jogar aqui. No meio da semana, nós jogamos, o Juventude não jogou e teve a troca de treinador, o que aumenta a motivação. Mas o ponto é sempre muito importante fora de casa — ressaltou Renato.
Com o time vaiado pelas atuações nos últimos jogos dentro de casa, o treinador reforçou a satisfação com os resultados da equipe e lamentou novamente a falta de tempo para teinar.
— Muita gente critica alguns resultados. Mas aí eu pergunto para vocês (repórteres): ‘Quem está jogando um futebol maravilhoso no Brasil?”. Eu estou muito satisfeito com o meu grupo, até pela pontuação que nós temos. Desde que eu cheguei, praticamente há 45 dias, é difícil ter uma semana cheia para trabalhar. É um jogo a cada três dias. Aí podem falar que eu não fui na Bolívia e Chile (pela Sul-Americana), mas, em compensação, tive que treinar outro time — disse o treinador.
Agora com 14 pontos no Brasileiro, o próximo compromisso do Fluminense é contra a Aparecidense-GO, nesta quarta-feira, às 19h30, no Mané Garrincha, em Brasília, pelo jogo de volta da terceira fase da Copa do Brasil.
