Casagrande, Craque Neto e Milton Neves parecem ter ‘jogado a toalha’ para o Santos no Brasileirão. Com apenas cinco pontos somados em nove partidas disputadas, o Peixe é dono da segunda pior campanha da competição. A equipe paulista só não é pior que o Sport, que tem 2.
Neste domingo (18), o time comandado por Cleber Xavier até começou melhor, sendo mais agressivo que o Timão, mas pecou nas conclusões. Na volta do intervalo, os donos da casa reagiram e Yuri Alberto garantiu a vitória por 1 a 0.
“Em nove rodadas, o Santos venceu um jogo, empatou dois e perdeu seis, sendo uma campanha que levará a equipe diretamente para o seu segundo rebaixamento. Sinceramente, não acredito no Neymar, por isso acho difícil o Santos conseguir evitar cair de novo para a Série B“, disse Casagrande, em coluna no UOL.
Casão, inclusive, foi um senhor crítico na escolha do Santos como substituto de Pedro Caixinha. Em sua análise, era preciso alguém com maior experiência para o cenário delicado em que vive o clube praiano.
“Já falei que não entendi por que Cleber Xavier foi contratado numa situação como essa, sendo que esse é seu primeiro trabalho como treinador, sem nenhuma experiência para salvar o Santos do rebaixamento”, argumenta o comentarista.

Em sua rádio web, Craque Neto acompanhou mais uma derrota do Santos e aproveitou para ironizar Neymar. O camisa 10 do Peixe, lesionado, chegou a colocar o elenco santista no mesmo patamar de outras grandes equipes do Brasil, mas no campo a tese não tem se confirmado.
“O Santos, se não ficar esperto, vai cair para a segunda divisão”, acrescentou.
Torcedor declarado do Santos, Milton Neves foi mais comedido nas palavras. Para ele, o Peixe perdeu uma ótima chance de vencer o Corinthians, sobretudo no primeiro tempo, onde teve uma ótima chance desperdiçada por Zé Ivaldo.
“Se tivesse um pouquinho mais de confiança, teria voltado para a Baixada com pelo menos um pontinho na bagagem.” Talvez até três… Pois é, meus amigos, quando a fase é ruim…”, lamentou.
