Bola de futebol, TV e controle (Reprodução)
Os clubes brasileiros seguem tendo os direitos de TV como uma das suas principais fontes de receita. Em 2024, considerando os 20 times principais, tiveram um total de R$ 3,3 bilhões somados. O Flamengo mais uma vez liderou o ranking, com uma renda de R$ 454 milhões. Em seguida, na 2ª colocação, aparece o Corinthians, com R$ 295 milhões, como mostra estudo da empresa Sports Value.
Também passando da barreira de R$ 200 milhões, fechando o Top-5 aparecem Palmeiras, Atlético-MG e São Paulo.
Mudanças de 2023 para 2024
Em relação ao ano retrasado existem algumas alterações importantes, tanto em relação aos valores como na posição do ranking:
- Flamengo, Atlético-MG, Vasco, Fortaleza e Bahia foram os únicos times que tiveram um crescimento com receitas de TV. Os demais tiveram uma queda entre 2023 e 2024;
- O Fluminense, 4º colocado em 2023, caiu para 7ª posição em 2024;
- O Atlético-MG, 8º colocado em 2023, teve um crescimento assumindo a 4ª colocação no último ano
Ganho relacionado diretamente as torcidas
O fato de Flamengo e Corinthians receberem altos valores não é mero acaso. Isso porque são os times com maior número de torcedores no futebol brasileiro.
Além disso, por conta da rivalidade torcidas rivais costumam acompanhar os jogos dos dois clubes para ‘secar’ ambos.
Esse fato inclusive foi um dos que gerou mais debate na negociação dos direitos de TV no ano passado. Isso porque Augusto Melo, presidente alvinegro, quis receber um valor igual ou pelo menos similar ao do clube rubro-negro.
Por falta deste acerto, o Timão se retirou do grupo Libra, que negociou com o Grupo Globo, para fazer parte da Liga Forte União.
A expectativa agora é saber como será o faturamento não só das duas equipes como das demais nos próximos anos, após a negociação dos direitos de transmissão.
