Fotbalisté pražské Sparty prohráli v Ostravě 2:3. Baník skvěle vstoupil do zápasu, když v sedmé minutě vedl už o dvě branky, a do poločasu stihl ještě jeden gól. Sparta byla na ručník. Do druhé půle ale jakoby vstoupil úplně jiný tým, který Ostravany přehrával a dal jim dva góly. Vyrovnat už ale nedokázal.
