The Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made a notable appearance at Patrick Mahomes‘ annual charity gala in Las Vegas, where a piece of memorabilia linked to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, became a standout item during the event’s auction.
Held by Mahomes’ foundation, 15 and the Mahomies, the benefit took place alongside a golf tournament at Shadow Creek and featured an acoustic guitar signed by Swift in the auction items.
Naturally the item drew significant attention and eventually sold for $15,000 with a black six-string adorned with the title of Swift‘s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, inscribed below the strings.
Kelce, wearing a suit for the evening, posed with the winning bidders after the auction concluded as the moment quickly went viral on social media as they enjoyed their coup, which also included signature and a printed photo of her were also featured on the instrument.

Swift did not attend the Las Vegas event, but her presence was felt through the auction item and underlines her commitment to supporting her boyfriend and inner circle in their ventures in life.
The charity gala was one part of a broader weekend of events that also saw Mahomes host a poolside gathering with guests including Von Miller, a two-time Super Bowl champion who last played for the Buffalo Bills.
The final round of the celebrity golf tournament continued Friday, with Patrick Mahomes Sr. receiving special permission to attend despite ongoing legal issues related to a DWI arrest.
Kelce returns to public life ahead of 2025/26 NFL season
Kelce‘s presence at the charity event came amid a packed schedule. Earlier in the week, he had been in New York City for an engagement with his brother, Jason Kelce, at a Prime Video event to promote their podcast.
It marks his growing reintegration into the public eye after largely vanishing over the NFL offseason following the defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. He will return for the 2025/26 campaign.
The NFL’s 2025 schedule, released Wednesday, will give the 35-year-old his travel plans for the season, but he already knows he’s going to Sao Paulo, Brazil for the opener, where the Chiefs are set to face the Los Angeles Chargers.
The team is also scheduled to play the Dallas Cowboys in Texas on Thanksgiving Day, a fixture that is already attracting ticket demands of $2000+ at the AT&T Stadium to watch Mahomes take on Dak Prescott.
Kelce comes into the campaign after a tough year that saw him make 97 receptions for just 823 yards and three touchdowns, although he did become the outright touchdown leader for the Chiefs.
Into the final year of his contract at the Arrowhead Stadium, he will hope to sign off with a memorable year before he heads for what many believe to be retirement from the sport.
