Solidarity and sports are two worlds that often come together to transform lives. This time was no exception.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, through his foundation “15 and the Mahomies” has been a beacon of hope for those who need it most since 2019. During the annual Benefit Gala that bears the same name as his foundation, Pat continues to hold firm to his mission of uplifting the quality of life for children by encouraging others to contribute to the betterment of their communities.
Travis Kelce backs out of auction item signed by Taylor Swift in front of Patrick Mahomes
During the benefit, held in Las Vegas, not only was the Mahomes family in attendance, but also among those willing to help was a very special friend, Travis Kelce. Together, they have shared moments both on and off the field. They support each other, share family moments, travel, and are already much more than friends, they are family.
This was evidenced in the post shared by the account @kelcebrothers on Instagram, where you can see a picture of Trav and Mia Mahomes, Patrick’s 13-year-old sister. With smiles starring in the photo, the caption of the post read: “Travis and Patrick Mahomes’ sister, Mia, at the 15 and the Mahomies charity gala in Las Vegas”.

The postcard was originally shared by Patrick’s mother, Randi Mahomes in a post along with 8 other photos that gave a glimpse of what the gala was like. “A beautiful night supporting @PatrickMahomes and the incredible work of @15andMahomies alongside family! Grateful to witness the impact this foundation is making in the lives of so many deserving kids,” wrote Randi.
During the Gala – which was a huge success – attendees played golf and soccer at Shadow Creek Golf Course and enjoyed event sponsor SportCoffee.
Travis and the Taylor reference
As mentioned earlier, Travis and Patrick have grown closer beyond their relationship as teammates. When Travis began dating the entertainer, he and his wife Brittany instantly accepted her into the Chiefs family.
During the gala, while not in attendance, Trav referred to her as his “significant other“, and stole the show with a comical situation.
At the time of the auctions, a guitar autographed by the 14-time Grammy winner was one of the options. From the moment it was announced, all eyes turned to her boyfriend, to which Travis responded “I just realized I have that one” making the audience burst into laughter at his reaction.
Without a doubt, the couple is stronger than ever and is already part of a big family.
