Již jen jeden tým zůstal ve skupině o titul stoprocentní. Jablonec v posledních deseti minutách nasázel lídrovi hrajícímu v kombinované sestavě tři góly a v první skupině zaznamenal čtvrtý triumf ze čtyř.
„Za stavu 2:0 jsme nepochopitelně nedohráli nebezpečné situace, které jsme měli, třeba tu pět na tři. Ke konci zápasu domácím hodně pomohli střídající hráči, my jsme nechytili tempo a hra se nám ke konci zápasu v podstatě zhroutila, a hlavně ve středu pole nás přehrávali,“ uznal Trpišovský, podle něhož bylo klíčovým momentem vystřídání Mosese deset minut před koncem.
„Defenzivu bych rozdělil do doby, kdy hrál Moses a kdy odešel ze hřiště. Po jeho odchodu si soupeře dělal ve středu hřiště, co chtěl, a z toho rezultovaly šance Jablonce. Jsme zklamaní, že jsme vedení neudrželi. Je škoda, že jsme si z Jablonce neodvezli body, když jsme na to jednoznačně měli,“ litoval Trpišovský.
Kouč Slavie Jablonec vyzdvihl. „Luboš Kozel odvádí skvělou práci. Už minulou sezonu měl v Liberci výbornou, v této tým získal tvář hned od jejího začátku. Mužstvo Jablonce vyspívá, hráči se zlepšují, dobře ho i doplnili. Dnes je strašně silný tým, a ne náhodou má takové výsledky. Oproti podzimu mají i silnou lavičku. Pokud se do evropských pohárů pohárů dostanou, můžou dojít daleko,“ složil Trpišovský Severočechům kompliment.
Pokud se však Jablonec dostane do evropských pohárů na úkor Sparty, nebude mít jejich rival v příští sezoně v lize výhodu, neboť se bude soustředit jen na domácí soutěž? „Nevím, co na to říct, Sparta není naše starost, spíš bych jednoznačně vyzdvihl Jablonec,“ odpověděl zkušený kouč.

Na Střelnici poprvé postavil mladého keňského záložníka Timothy Oumu, odehrál šedesát osm minut. „Je rozdíl hrát v páru s Oscarem a bez něj, stejně jako dnes platilo i pro hraní v páru s Mosesem. Ale na svůj věk jde o zajímavého hráče. Podal slibný výkon, ale ještě musí přidat, hlavně po stránce běžeckého výkonu. Představoval jsem si od něj větší aktivitu s míčem, těch interakcí s míčem tolik neměl,“ zhodnotil Trpišovský.
Na posledních dvacet minut se na hřiště dostal i Milan Škoda. „Nebylo to za odměnu. Předpokládali jsme, že se na hřiště dostane hodně mladých hráčů, takže jsme ho chtěli mít na hřišti jako zkušeného hráče. Uvidíme, co bude za týden,“ uzavřel Trpišovský směrem k sobotnímu utkání, kdy Slavia uzavře mistrovskou sezonu domácím utkáním s Ostravou.
