Arch Manning will be under the spotlight and feel the pressure in this new season. He will need to take responsibility and carry Texas on his back.

Many doubt him, but at 19 years old, Arch is ready to face the biggest challenge of his career. His last name certainly adds more weight to the matter, but his enormous abilities are undeniable. If anyone is ready for this challenge, it’s him.

What Olivia Dunne did with her Sports Illustrated covers has fans racing

However, there has been talk of a bad relationship with Quinn Ewers, the backup quarterback, on several occasions. Rumors and speculation have left us with many unanswered questions. However, Steve Sarkisian has a plan to prevent things from getting out of hand. His goal is clear: to protect the team and keep it focused on its objectives for the upcoming season.

Will Steve put an end to the tension?

From the moment Arch Manning joined the team, many predicted that Quinn Ewers would eventually relinquish his leadership role.

After two years, the transition finally occurred without any friction between the two. Despite Manning‘s prominence, Ewers said their friendship remains intact.

After two years, the transition between Manning and Ewers was completed without conflict. Despite the attention on Arch, Quinn emphasized that they are still friends. Steve Sarkisian devised a plan to manage both quarterbacks, and thanks to their good relationship, the strategy was successful for everyone.

“Here’s Quinn Ewers, who’s entering his third year and knows the system inside and out. Now it’s about managing expectations. It’s about the nuances of the system now. Arch just got here and is trying to learn the fundamentals of the offense,” Sarkisian said.

“And a lot of times I’m intentionally harder on them to bring them closer, thinking that they only have each other.”

The reality is that their plan is effective and has paid off. They both have a healthy competitive rivalry and seek the best for the Texas Longhorns because that is the goal they share. With a couple of months to go, it looks like they are ready to resume activities and compete for the championship.

Power Four schools could face expulsion from conferences if they don’t sign binding contract, per report

Getty Images Leaders from the Power Four conferences are circulating a binding document that would radically transform rules enforcement in college football, according to Yahoo Sports. The contract would create the College Sports Commission, a new entity geared toward rules enforcement. Power Four schools would be required to sign the contract or risk being expelled from their leagues and having member schools refuse to play games against them. Additionally, it would limit the ability for schools to sue over enforcement decisions, radically transforming the outlook of the new era of college athletics. If the document is signed, it would create legitimate enforcement power that would put an end to the largely unregulated market that exists in the present environment. Notably, it would make schools subject to decisions by an NIL clearinghouse, which would judge whether outside NIL contracts represent true "market value." […]

Can Marvin Harrison Jr. make a Year 2 leap? Cardinals’ hopes may hinge on it
