Tostão está cada vez mais encantado com o potencial exibido pelo atacante Lamine Yamal, do Barcelona, aos 17 anos de idade. Em texto publicado na Folha de S. Paulo no último final de semana, o comentarista chamou atenção para o poder decisivo do garoto, que foi peça chave na conquista de LaLiga.
Após sucumbir nas semis da Champions League, o time da Catalunha fez clássico local contra o Espanyol e consolidou a conquista do certame nacional, tendo o atacante como o autor do gol decisivo.
“Na quinta-feira, o Barcelona, melhor time do mundo mesmo tendo sido eliminado da Liga dos Campeões pela excelente equipe da Inter de Milão, conquistou o título espanhol com mais uma grande atuação e um gol magistral do jovem Lamine Yamal, 17 anos”, iniciou Tostão.
“Seu talento vai muito além da habilidade, da técnica e das estatísticas. Ele é indefinível. Ele é antes de ser”, avaliou o ex-jogador.

Constantemente enaltecido por Tostão, Lamine ostenta índices altos em sua segunda temporada como profissional do Barcelona. Até o momento, o jovem de 17 anos computa 18 gols e 12 assistências em 54 jogos realizados, ‘pulverizando’ os números da temporada passada, quando registrou sete gols e sete assistências em 50 partidas.
Diante de todo o protagonismo, o garoto cria da base blaugrana já é cotado como um dos candidatos ao prêmio de melhor do mundo. Yamal terá o segundo semestre de 2025 para manter a regularidade e brigar diretamente pelo prêmio da Bola de Ouro, entregue pela revista France Football no término do ano.
