Walker Buehler, Alex Cora tossed after testy exchange with umpire
BOSTON — In his first start back from the injured list, Boston Red Sox starter Walker Buehler was ejected in the third inning for arguing balls and strikes. The argument came after what appeared to be a missed strike call in an at-bat against Juan Soto. With one out in the third inning, Buehler threw a 1-0 pitch to Soto that looked to be clearly within the strike zone, but it was called a ball by home plate umpire Mike Estabrook. Sooo…. that was a strike right pic.twitter.com/f2JTofhFFU — NESN (@NESN) May 20, 2025Buehler walked off the mound and appeared to say, “Buddy, that was right down the middle, right down the middle.”Estabrook immediately took exception and pulled his mask off, walking toward the mound and pointing aggressively at Buehler. He appeared to tell Buehler to “get back on the mound” […]

‘Sorry for the language’: Cowboys QB Dak Prescott reflects on 2024, reignites his connection with CeeDee Lamb
IMAGN Images FRISCO, Texas -- No NFL team's season officially ends in Week 9. However, the Dallas Cowboys' 2024 campaign (7-10) was essentially dead in the water the moment three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott came up limping against the Atlanta Falcons. Shortly thereafter, Prescott was ruled out for the year and underwent season-ending surgery for a torn hamstring. He's now ready to roll for the Cowboys' 2025 offseason program under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who noted on Tuesday that the 31-year-old 2023 NFL MVP runner-up is "progressing nicely.""He looks good," Schottenheimer said. "You guys will see him out there today. He's doing his normal stuff. He's getting most of the work with the ones. We're rolling some guys through there but you'll see him. He looks good. I think he's progressing nicely." A.J. Brown says Eagles are 'going to […]
