Casagrande elege forte candidato ao título da Libertadores: “Copeiro”

Casagrande vê duas situações distintas envolvendo o São Paulo em 2025. Enquanto o possível título do Brasileirão é avaliado como algo fora da realidade, o ex-jogador acredita que o Tricolor é um forte candidato na Libertadores e Copa do Brasil. Neste cenário, o espírito “copeiro”, mostrado na classificação contra o Náutico, motivou o discurso.

“O São Paulo, na minha visão, não tem chances de ser campeão brasileiro porque é pontos corridos. Mas, no mata-mata, é muito forte. O Zubeldía tem facilidade de montar o time para esse tipo de torneio.”, disse Casão, no UOL News Esporte.

“Eu vejo o São Paulo como copeiro. Pode ir longe na Copa do Brasil e na Libertadores. Mas, no Brasileiro, tem que prestar atenção para não ficar perto do bolo (do rebaixamento). Tem que subir, mas não vai subir o suficiente para disputar o título.”, acrescentou.

Casagrande alerta sobre Zubeldía

Após um período conturbado, Zubeldía vem conseguindo manter um período de paz no São Paulo. Mesmo assim, Casagrande não projeta o treinador ganhando o status de unanimidade, já que parte da torcida estabeleceu um “ranço” definitivo com o argentino.

“Tem um pessoal na torcida e dentro do próprio São Paulo que não importa o que o Zubeldía faça. Alguma coisa vão implicar. O São Paulo ganhou de 2 a 1 em casa e fora. O Zubeldía vai ter uma vida dura no São Paulo porque já tem uma parte da torcida que não vão mudar de ideia.”, afirmou.

Postura do São Paulo em decisões

Satisfeito com o rendimento do São Paulo nos Aflitos, Zubeldía enalteceu o comportamento em partidas de mata-mata. Ao longo da Libertadores e Copa do Brasil, o espírito copeiro citado por Casagrande é o principal trunfo para a conquista de títulos.

É difícil explicar isso. Copa do Brasil é o mesmo que a Libertadores. Aqui, neste tipo de torneio, ter 45 minutos ruins te complica. Então, hoje, na palestra, o que falamos foi: ‘Sempre vamos jogar uma Copa’. Não há amanhã.”, externou o técnico.
