Casagrande vê um erro imperdoável cometido na gestão do Corinthians. Levando em conta os valores milionários investidos para reforçar o elenco, o ex-jogador acredita que o crescimento da dívida sequer colocou o elenco entre os melhores do Brasileirão. Neste cenário, apesar das contratações, o Timão segue dependente da criatividade de Rodrigo Garro.
“O elenco do Corinthians com todo esse gasto… ‘Ah, não vamos pensar em dinheiro’, mas já gastaram mal. Com tudo que gastaram poderia ter um time melhor. Já que era para fazer uma dívida monstra e sem se preocupar, vai e contrata (outros). Todo mundo que vai para o Corinthians ganha R$ 800 mil ou R$ 1,5 milhão.”, disse Casão, no UOL News Esporte.
“O Corinthians é limitado. Sem o Garro não andou até agora. O Corinthians depende na parte de criatividade, liderança técnica e daquele cara que aparece o tempo todo para jogar.”, acrescentou.
Dono de um dos maiores salários do elenco, Igor Coronado ainda não convenceu Casagrande. Como Rodrigo Garro segue desfalcando o Corinthians, o camisa 77, em teoria, deveria assumir o posto de maestro, algo que não se confirmou em campo.
“O Coronado não apresentou nada até hoje. Não tem nada que me convença que aquele salário de R$ 2 milhões tem um custo-benefício válido. Eu faço umas críticas e vem uns comentários: ‘Você viu o domínio de bola dele?’. Eu não jogo mais, se jogar a bola pra mim, eu vou dominar. Então, eu vou ganhar R$ 2 milhões por causa disso? Não. Ele não faz o papel de criatividade.”, afirmou.
Problema no Corinthians
Além dos problemas criativos, Casagrande vê Dorival Júnior encarando uma situação difícil à frente do Corinthians. Isso porque os quatro principais zagueiros à disposição são vistos como limitados, motivo pelo qual o esquema com três defensores não agrada o ex-jogador.
“A defesa do Corinthians é limitadíssima. Tem quatro zagueiros limitados. Se eu fosse treinador e tivesse quatro caras limitados da mesma posição, eu usaria o mínimo possível.”, opinou.
