Com a aproximação da Data FIFA, Arthur Elias já começou a planejar os amistosos contra a Seleção Japonesa, no fim de maio e no início de junho. O treinador já fez a convocação para às partidas, porém, tem sofrido com problemas e cortes em sua lista.
Nesta quarta-feira, 21, A seleção brasileira feminina anunciou oficialmente o corte de duas atletas convocadas por Arthur Elias, São elas Laís Estevam, do Palmeiras, e Debinha, do Kansas City Current.
Debinha foi diagnosticada após avaliação médica e exames de imagem com uma lesão no ligamento colateral medial do joelho direito, e também do ligamento deltoide do tornozelo direito. A atacante do Kansas City faria seu retorno para a seleção, onde não jogava desde junho do ano passado. Já o caso de Laís Estevam, do Palmeiras, é mais leve, se trata de um desconforto limitante no joelho esquerdo. Ela foi cortada e deve iniciar tratamento no clube.
Novas convocadas
Para o lugar das atletas lesionadas, Arthur Elias já fez sua convocação. Se trata da meio-campista Ary Borges, do Racing Lousville-EUA, e a atacante Adriana, do Al-Qadsiah, da Arábia Saudita.
Adriana esteve presente na última convocação feita por Arthur Elias, e jogou no amistoso da Seleção contra os Estados Unidos. Na atual temporada pelo Al-Qadsiah, ela tem 5 gols em 5 jogos disputados.
Já Ary Borges volta a seleção brasileira após mais de um ano. A última partida dela com a camisa amarelinha aconteceu na Gold Cup Feminina, em 2024. Pelo Racing Lousville ela tem 6 partidas disputadas, com 1 gol marcado na atual temporada.

O Brasil entra em campo no fim do mês, no próximo dia 30 de maio, contra o Japão. A partida acontecerá na Neo Química Arena, em São Paulo. A segunda partida entre as equipes será no Estádio Cicero de Souza Marques, em Bragança Paulista, no dia 2 de junho.
