Das habe Real Madrid in Abstimmung mit dem Spieler entschieden. „The Athletic“ zufolge dürfte das eine Ausfallzeit von bis zu drei Monaten zur Folge haben!

Dem Portal zufolge soll er sogar schon zuvor in seiner Zeit beim BVB Schulterprobleme gehabt haben. Der enge Terminkalender im Welt-Fußball hatte bislang kein Zeitfenster für eine OP zugelassen.
Bellingham würde im Falle einer Operation weitere Teile des Saisonstarts verpassen. Immerhin könnte er bei der Klub-WM noch für die Königlichen auflaufen.
