„Bude to zábava se s ním utkat, stali se z nás dobří kamarádi,“ prozradil v rozhovoru pro list Aftonbladet Lindholm, jenž se střelecky prosadil i při porážce v posledním skupinovém duelu s Kanadou.

Rodák z Gävle ale zároveň potvrdil, že před čtvrtfinále žádné hecování s českou superhvězdou nebude. „Teď už s ním nebude žádný kontakt. Ne teď, když jdeme proti sobě, na tyhle věci není čas,“ odmítl to.
„Jdeme do toho naostro. Jsme kamarádi, ale hecování si necháme na jindy,“ pokračoval.
Pro Pastrňáka má před vzájemným duelem jen slova respektu. Švédský forvard je mile překvapen, že s ním svádí souboj o nejproduktivnějšího hráče turnaje.
„Snažím se jen hrát co nejlépe. David je špičkový hráč. Očekával jsem, že bude mezi nejlepšími. Já nejsem zrovna ten, kdo by se s ním měl poměřovat. Ale turnaj mi zatím vychází, tak se to pokusím udržet,“ těší Lindholma.
