Carletonová začala minulou sezonu v dresu Györu, ale v lednu se přesunula do Mersinu. Za turecký klub odehrála v soutěži devět zápasů s průměrem přes 10 bodů a pět asistencí na utkání. Na hřišti strávila v průměru více než 32 minut a byla nejvytíženější hráčkou Mersinu. Ve finále proti USK byl s 15 body druhou nejlepší střelkyní týmu, ale porážce 53:66 nezabránila.
„Jsem nadšená, že v příští sezoně budu hrát za ZVVZ USK. Vždycky jsem měla respekt k tomuto klubu a jeho úžasným fanouškům a nemůžu se dočkat, až přijedu do Prahy a začneme trénovat na nový ročník,“ uvedla Carletonová.
Nyní nastupuje ve WNBA za Minnesotu. V Evropě dříve hrála i za Salamancu či francouzský tým Landerneau. Hraje také za kanadský národní tým, s nímž se představila mimo jiné na olympijských hrách v Tokiu a Paříži.
Dalšími novými tvářemi v USK Praha budou francouzské reprezentantky Janelle Salaünová a Pauline Astierová, které se v týmu potkají s oporou Valériane Ayayiovou.
České šampionky procházejí velkou proměnou. Tým už nepovede úspěšná trenérka Natália Hejková, jejím nástupcem se stal dosavadní asistent Martin Bašta. Z klubu odešly Teja Oblaková, María Condeová, Ezi Magbegorová i české reprezentantky Veronika Voráčková, Gabriela Andělová a Veronika Šípová.
