O Flamengo, como esperado, não teve muito trabalho para sacramentar a sua classificação para as oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil. Felipe Melo, porém, chamou a atenção do sistema defensivo rubro-negro que foi vazado duas vezes pelo Botafogo-PB.
Segundo o ex-volante, pela capacidade dos atletas da equipe carioca não poderia sofrer os dois gols de um adversário que é limitado.
“O que me chama a atenção é o Flamengo ter tomado dois gols. O nível de concentração precisa ser máximo nestes jogos porque acaba se colocando em uma situação meio que…próximo jogo é o Palmeiras fora de casa e aí se você passa em branco é importante para o sistema defensivo, dá confiança”, disse Felipe Melo.

Neste jogo, o técnico Filipe Luís fez algumas modificações por conta do desgaste e, sobretudo, pelo duro confronto do próximo final de semana diante do Palmeiras, domingo, pelo Brasileirão. O ex-lateral escalou uma primeira linha com Varela, João Victor, Danilo e Ayrton Lucas.
Vale lembrar que Varela e Allan ainda estão lesionados. Desta forma, o jovem Evertton Araújo apareceu como novidade.
“É muito importante a zaga de grandes clubes não tomar gols, é importante demais do ponto de vista psicológico para o sistema defensivo. Não pode. A zaga do Flamengo é uma das melhores, só tem atletas de seleção. Não importa se é jogo treino ou final de Libertadores. A concentração tem que ser a mesma”, acrescentou.
Filipe Luís aborda falhas na defesa
Em entrevista coletiva, Filipe Luís preferiu dar méritos ao Botafogo-PB do que focar em erros na defesa. Para ele, a vantagem no placar levou a uma determinada perda de intensidade.
“Com o resultado, 2×0, senti que começamos a perder duelos individuais, tanto ofensivos quanto defensivos. Eles jogam, sabem jogar, sabem machucar e chegar até o teu gol. Não digo que relaxamos mas não era a mesma intensidade dos duelos (anteriores). O Botafogo chegou e conseguiu fazer o gol”, explicou.
