Não foi como o torcedor do Santos desejava a volta de Neymar aos gramados, com a derrota nos pênaltis para o CRB, na terceira fase da Copa do Brasil. E a queda deixa ainda mais indagações sobre o futuro do jogador na equipe
‘Não sei ainda’
O contrato do camisa 10 com o Peixe vai até junho e, até o momento, nada sobre uma possível renovação existe de fato. Entrevistado pela Amazon Prime sobre o assunto, o ídolo santista tratou de desconversar em relação a ficar ou não na Vila Belmiro.
“Não sei ainda, não sei”, disse Neymar.
Vai ficar ou não?
A ‘novela’ relativa à renovação de contrato do jogador tem durado basicamente desde a chegada do atleta. A postura da diretoria santista foi sempre de manter o otimismo sobre uma eventual permanência de seu principal jogador, com o presidente Marcelo Teixeira chegando a falar sobre ‘diálogo diário‘ para tentar convencer o jogador a ficar.
Um ponto que pode até ajudar o Santos é que, até o momento, interessados mais fortes em tirar Neymar da Vila Belmiro. O Barcelona, ex-clube do jogador, e que chegou a ser cotado como eventual destino do camisa 10, parece ter desistido de contar com o craque por preocupações com o estado físico do atleta.
E esta espera poderá durar ainda mais tempo. Pelo contrato, ainda haveria mais quatro partidas as quais o ídolo poderá estar à disposição, como a partida de domingo (25) contra o Vitória, pelo Brasileirão, e ainda Botafogo e Fortaleza. E também, neste mesmo período, os santistas tem amistoso marcado contra a equipe do RB Leipzig.
