Fechando os jogos do sábado (24), pela 10ª rodada do Brasileirão, Atlético-MG e Corinthians ficaram no empate sem gols na Arena MRV, em noite de boa atuação para Hugo Souza e Everson.
Por conta do compromisso na Sul-Americana, diante do Huracán, o técnico Dorival Júnior utilizou uma formação mista, e foi gradativamente, acionando os titulares. No final do jogo, o treinador ganhou uma preocupação, haja vista que Yuri Alberto deixou o campo de jogo carregado.
O camisa 9 entrou aos 20 minutos da etapa completamentar e será reavaliado nas próximas horas. Na coletiva pós jogo, o treinador disse ter suspeita que o quadro do atacante seja contratura muscular.

Com a bola roland, os dois times iniciaram em um ritmo lento, sem grandes chances de gol nos primeiros 30 minutos. O Corinthians teve a oportunidade inicial de abrir contagem, em lance com Talles Magno. Minutos depois veio a resposta com Hulk, após falha do sistema defensivo do Timão, mas a finalização foi errada.
Na volta do intervalo, o Galo voltou mais incisivo e passou a parar nas boas defesas de Hugo Souza, que fez, no mínimo mais três intervenções cruciais no jogo. O goleiro, inclusive, está na pré-lista de Ancelotti para a seleção brasileira.

Diante do resultado na capital mineira, Atletico-MG e Corinthians ficam estacionados nos 14 pontos, momentaneamente, antes do fechamento da rodada. O Timão, pelos critérios de desempate, aparece em oitavo, enquanto o Galo é o 10º na tabela.
