Verlässt Cristiano Ronaldo die Wüste?
Medienberichten zufolge könnte der portugiesische Superstar noch in den nächsten Wochen vor einem spektakulären Wechsel stehen. Sein Vertrag bei Al-Nassr läuft in diesem Sommer aus, mehrere Klubs buhlen um seine Dienste. Fifa-Präsident Gianni Infantino befeuerte nun diese Gerüchte – und stellt in Aussicht, dass er sogar bei der Klub-WM (14. Juni bis zum 13. Juli 2025) auflaufen könnte.
[–>Infantino im Interview mit dem YouTuber IShowSpeed: „Es laufen Gespräche mit einigen Vereinen. Also, wenn irgendein Klub zuschaut, der Cristiano Ronaldo gerne für die Klub-WM verpflichten würde – wer weiß. Es sind noch ein paar Wochen Zeit.“
Hintergrund: Ronaldos Saudi-Klub Al-Nassr FC ist nicht bei der anstehenden Klub-WM in den USA dabei. Dementsprechend wäre auch „CR7“ nicht beim XXL-Format dabei, bei dem unter den 32 Teams auch der FC Bayern und Borussia Dortmund dabei sind.
Die Fifa und auch der bekennende Ronaldo-Fan Infantino hätten Ronaldo aber wohl gerne bei ihrem Mega-Turnier dabei, weshalb der Schweizer für ihn die Werbetrommel rührt. Zudem wäre es ein zusätzlicher Marketing-Coup.

Auch, weil es dann zu einem Duell mit seinem Dauerrivalen Lionel Messi kommen könnte. Sein Klub Inter Miami wurde als punktbeste Mannschaft von der Fifa eingeladen. Miami eröffnet das Turnier im Hard Rock Stadium gegen Al-Ahly (2 Uhr deutscher Zeit).
Die Fifa hat sogar ein zusätzliches Transferfenster eigens für die Klub-WM-Teilnehmer geschaffen. Somit können die Vereine zwischen dem 1. und 10. Juni, also schon vor dem offiziellen Transferfenster, Spieler verpflichten.
Transfer-Gerüchte um Ronaldo
Nachdem die „Marca“ erst vor ein paar Tagen vom Interesse des brasilianischen Klubs Botafogo berichtet hatte, bringt die spanische Sportzeitung nun einen weiteren Klub-WM-Teilnehmer ins Spiel. Demnach soll der marokkanische Verein Wydad Casablanca über eine Verpflichtung von Ronaldo für den Zeitraum des Turniers nachdenken. Zudem soll auch Los Angeles FC den Portugal-Star auf dem Zettel haben.
Gut möglich, dass sich Fans vielleicht doch noch auf zwei Fußball-Legenden bei der Klub-WM freuen können!
