Liebe enttäuschte Jäger von Florian Wirtz,
bitte nicht traurig sein. Es besteht überhaupt kein Grund dazu. Nicht, dass er mit 22 schon unbestritten auf Weltklasseniveau schwebt. Und dass er sich wundern wird, wie hässlich Liverpool ist (über Leverkusen, das sich hinterm Kölner Dom versteckt, schweige ich lieber). München wäre sogar schön, wenn man die Frauenkirche, den Marienplatz, Schwabing und die Wiesn wegnimmt, sogar das Augustiner-Bier.
Von der Schönheit und das unglaubliche Flair rings um Real Madrid will ich gar nicht erst reden. Auch wenn sich Florian Wirtz wohl denkt: „Schön ist nur da, wo ich Fußball spiele.“
Auch wenn es ihn durchaus gereizt hätte, mit Jamal Musiala in einer Mannschaft zu spielen und zu beweisen, dass zwei Zehner durchaus harmonieren können – wie einst Xavi und Iniesta bei Barcelona. Oder haben die Liverpooler ihm einen ganz anderen Stammplatz versprochen – im Wachsfiguren-Kabinett neben Beatle Paul McCartney oder John Lennon?
[–>So oder so – die Bayern-Träume sind geplatzt. Ich werde demnächst mit irgendeinem schlauen Menschen wetten, dass in spätestens zwei Jahren Nick Woltemade im Bayern-Sturm spielt, gefüttert mit Zuckerpässen von Musiala. Auch davon darf man träumen. Ich habe gute Gründe dafür. Es liegt irgendwie in der DNA von Bayern München dafür zu sorgen, dass der Süd-Nachbar VfB Stuttgart nicht zu mächtig wird.
Wie Mitte der 90er, als Krassimir Balakow, Giovane Elber und Fredi Bobic weit über Deutschlands Grenzen hinaus als das „magische Dreieck“ bewundert wie gefürchtet, mit dem Transfer von Elber wirkungsvoll zerstört wurde. Der Brasilianer gehört bis heute, wenn er nicht gerade auf Heimat-Besuch ist, zum Münchner Straßenbild wie die Leberkässemmel mit süßem Senf. Mit Stuttgart verbindet ihn dagegen wenig.
Noch wesentlich nachhaltiger ist das „Stuttgarter Werk“ des Bayern-Patrons Uli Hoeneß bis in die heutigen Tage, was die eigene Familie angeht. Praktisch zum Einstand als Manager präsentierte er 1979 dem damaligen Präsidenten Wilhelm Neudecker einen langgewachsenen Torjäger des VfB, nur acht Zentimeter kürzer als Woltemade (1,98). Der Mann konnte Bilder malen, war dank festgeschriebener Ablöse – ja, damals schon – fast umsonst zu haben (175.000 D-Mark), schoss und köpfte für Bayern in 224 Bundesligaspielen 102 Tore. Es handelte sich um seinen ein Jahr jüngeren Bruder Dieter (72).
Ja, jenen Dieter, der jetzt beim Pokal-Finale als Vater des VfB-Trainers Sebastian Hoeneß, genannt Turban-Dieter (Final-Tor mit blutdurchtränktem Kopfverband), wieder in die Schlagzeilen rückte.
Dieter, der sich nach der Spieler-Karriere als Geschäftsmann (Bayern-Brustsponsor Commodore), Manager (u.a. VfB, Hertha) einen Namen machte, zieht als Spielerberater (Aleksandar Pavlovic, Josip Stanisic) längst auch wieder beim FC Bayern an so mancher Strippe. Wer da zwei und zwei zusammenzählt … Womit wir bei Nick Woltemade wären, dem neuen Elber.

Woltemade mit seinen überragenden Anlagen (am Ball stärker als Dieter Hoeneß, steht beim Kopfball in der Luft), wäre auch ohne den Hoeneß-Clan ein Thema bei den Bayern. Erst recht auch ohne den Wirtz. Man darf ruhig weiter spinnen mit Sebastian Hoeneß, auch wenn das gegenwärtig dank stabilem Trainer Vincent Kompany kein Thema ist. Immerhin hat Sebastian erfolgreich Bayern II trainiert.
Es wird noch viel zu hören sein zum Thema – nein, nicht Wirtz – sondern Woltemade. Auch er ein Glücksfall für den deutschen Fußball. Und hoffentlich recht lange für die Bundesliga.
