Šestadvacetiletý Rousek po odchodu do USA ze Sparty odehrál v NHL sedmnáct zápasů, většinou působil v AHL ve farmářském Rochesteru. V minulé sezoně byl Rousek třetím nejproduktivnějším hráčem týmu, v 79 zápasech včetně play off nasbíral 50 bodů včetně devíti gólů. V NHL má ze 17 startů bilanci 1+3.
Ve švédském klubu z Jönköpingu podepsal smlouvu na dva roky. „Švédská liga má vysokou úroveň a vím, že Jönköping je hokejem poblázněné město. Bude to zábava a velká výzva,“ řekl. V celku HV 71 v minulé sezoně působil jiný český útočník Radan Lenc, ale rozhodl se vrátit do Liberce.
