„Tonda je v častém kontaktu s trenéry brankářů národního týmu. Výstup z debat je takový, že je připraven dorazit a nastoupit, pokud se některý z nominovaných brankářů zraní,“ řekl Hašek na středeční tiskové konferenci, na které zveřejnil svůj výběr pro kvalifikační duely o MS 2026 s Černou Horou 6. června v Plzni a 9. června v Osijeku s Chorvatskem.

Kinského se vzhledem ke složité pozici v Hotspurs netýká ani mistrovství Evropy jednadvacítek, které se uskuteční od 11. do 28. června na Slovensku. Londýnský klub by ho však v případě nominace na turnaj stejně nemusel uvolnit.
„Vzhledem k tomu, že Euro do 21 let není v oficiálním kalendáři FIFA, se Tonda rozhodl soustředit na přípravu s Tottenhamem,“ uvedl technický ředitel Fotbalové asociace ČR Erich Brabec.
