Palmeiras e Atlético-MG estão no radar do Boca Juniors antes da estreia na Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa. Segundo a imprensa argentina, o clube presidido pelo craque Juan Román Riquelme realizou uma sondagem recente pelo meio-campista Aníbal Moreno, que perdeu a titularidade na equipe comandada por Abel Ferreira.
Esta não é a primeira vez que o Boca realiza uma investida pelo volante de 26 anos. A pedido de Fernando Gago, seu ex-treinador, o clube explorou as possibilidades desta contratação, mas os valores colocados na mesa, cerca de 12 milhões de dólares (cerca de R$ 68 milhões), assustaram os dirigentes xeneizes.
Ex-jogador do Racing, Aníbal Moreno foi contratado no fim de 2023 por cerca de US$ 7 milhões (R$ 34,4 milhões) e rapidamente se tornou peça fundamental para o Verdão, que buscava um atleta com perfil aguerrido e marcador.
Segundo informa TyC Sports, o jogador não descartaria totalmente a chance de voltar ao país natal, mas também não forçaria a saída do time paulista. Além disso, Leia Pereira e cia. não facilitariam em hipótese alguma a sua transferência. Portanto, o Boca Juniors precisaria ‘abrir os cofres’ para selar a compra.
Palmeiras não facilita e Boca avalia ‘plano B’
Diante de um cenário pessimista por Aníbal Moreno, a diretoria do Boca Juniors tem avaliado outros nomes no mercado da bola. Fausto Vera, atualmente no Atlético-MG, é uma alternativa que surgiu com muita força nas últimas semanas.
Pouco aproveitado por Cuca, ex-jogador do Corinthians atraiu os olhares de Riquelme. Enquanto era atleta do Timão, Fausto esteve perto de virar reforço do Boca, mas a cúpula corintiana disse não para uma oferta formal de dois milhões de dólares pela compra.
Com vínculo até o fim de 2027, Vera custou ao Galo 4,5 milhões de dólares (R$ 24,7 milhões).

A Fifa alterou algumas regras no mercado da bola antes da disputa do Mundial de Clubes. Para as equipes participantes, entre elas Palmeiras, Flamengo, Botafogo e Fluminense, a entidade máxima do futebol criou uma janela excepcional de transferências entre os dias 1º e 10 de junho de 2025.
O Rubro-Negro, por exemplo, pode ter o meia Jorginho, do Arsenal, como seu reforço para a primeira edição da competição internacional.
