Tres días después del final de liga, Osasuna no ha dudado en mover ficha con respecto a la posible alineación indebida de Iñigo Martínez y ha acudido al Tribunal Administrativo del Deporte (TAD).
Las negativas previas de los comités de Competición y Apelación no han frenado al club rojillo, que cree todavía en obtener la razón y que se tomen las medidas oportunas. Unas decisiones que no alterarían al Barcelona en cuanto a su campeonato de liga, pero sí podrían cambiar la situación clasificatoria de los navarros al sumar tres puntos que ascenderían hasta los 55 finalmente. Por lo tanto, el puesto real del equipo sería la octava plaza, que da acceso a jugar en la Conference League la siguiente temporada.
Sobre las bases del recurso, Osasuna alega que la desconvocatoria del jugador culé fue inusual y existen discordancias con la forma de actuar, dudando del estado del central. También están sobre la mesa los interrogante generados por el breve parte médico que hacia referencia a una lesión de rodilla o la posible falta del permiso acreditativo de la RFEF en el que se explica la anulación de los cinco días acordados por la FIFA donde el jugador lesionado no puede participar en un partido con su club. Esta vez fueron cuatro días, lo que provocó las discrepancias de la entidad pamplonesa.
En el supuesto caso de recibir otro rechazo, la petición no quedaría en este estamento, ya que en Osasuna existe un convencimiento total. Por ello, está dispuesto a llegar hasta el final, acudiendo a la justicia ordinaria si fuese preciso para lograr un veredicto que, quizá, llevaría a los rojillos a Europa.
