Estêvão celebra do Palmeiras no Brasileirão (Cesar Greco – Ag. Palmeiras – Divulgação)
André Rizek saiu em defesa de Estêvão, joia do Palmeiras, antes da despedida do jogador no Allianz Parque. Embora o atacante não tenha marcado gols em clássicos contra rivais diretos, Rizek argumenta que o desempenho técnico e o talento do jovem superam os números frios. Neste cenário, o tabu sequer foi levado em consideração dentro de uma análise mais abrangente.
“Os dados pouco importam. O que importa é que estamos vendo um jogador muito especial em reta final aqui em nosso território”, afirmou Rizek, no programa “Seleção SporTV”.
Estêvão, que soma 13 partidas sem gols contra rivais diretos, também tem apenas uma assistência pelo Palmeiras nos clássicos em questão. Mesmo assim, Rizek lembrou que não se pode fazer um julgamento apenas levando em consideração os dados principais.
“Eu, como âncora, sou obrigado a dizer: e daí? Eu vi ele fazer partidas excelentes contra o Corinthians, por exemplo. É uma mera curiosidade ele não ter feito gols em clássicos”, completou o jornalista.
Rizek compara Estêvão a Lamine Yamal e projeta futuro de destaque mundial
Ao comentar a ida de Estêvão para o Chelsea, após o Mundial de Clubes, Rizek traçou um paralelo com Lamine Yamal, do Barcelona, e projetou um futuro promissor para o jovem brasileiro. Isso porque ambos podem disputar, em breve, o prêmio de melhor jogador do mundo.
“É muito difícil fazer projeções. O Messi, com 17 anos, não era nem sombra do que é o Lamine Yamal hoje. A gente não consegue garantir que o Yamal vai ser o que foi o Messi.”
“Tenho uma expectativa muito alta com o Estêvão. Acho que ele pode chegar entre os principais jogadores do mundo. Ele tem esse potencial.”, prosseguiu.
Grafite projeta salto de Estêvão para Barça ou Real
Durante o debate, o ex-jogador Grafite também opinou sobre o futuro da revelação palmeirense. Apesar do projeto de longo prazo no Chelsea, o comentarista acredita que Barcelona ou Real Madrid podem ser destinos naturais para Estêvão.
“A vida particular e a vida profissional têm que andar juntos. Tem o planejamento de carreira que o estafe vai fazer para ele. Isso vai pesar bastante. Ele tem muita qualidade. Vai fazer dois ou três anos e ir para um clube maior. Aí vamos falar de Barcelona e Real Madrid.”, indicou.
