O Palmeiras reformulou o elenco para a temporada 2025 do futebol brasileiro. Contratou sete jogadores, conforme um levantamento do site Futebol 365. São eles: Facundo Torres, Paulinho, Emiliano Martínez, Bruno Fuchs, Micael, Vitor Roque e Lucas Evangelista. Por outro lado, saíram: Gabriel Menino, Dudu, Lucas Freitas, Vitor Reis, Michel, Rômulo, Edney, Rony, Caio Paulista, Atuesta, Zé Rafael e Fabinho.
A reformulação trouxe resultados. O Verdão, atualmente, lidera o Campeonato Brasileiro. Além disso, obteve 100% de aproveitamento e a melhor campanha, na fase de grupos da Libertadores.
Nesta quarta (28), goleou o Sporting Cristal por 6 a 0, no estádio Allianz Parque. O confronto marcou a despedida de Estêvão perante o torcedor. De acordo com o técnico Abel Ferreira, tais resultados são consequências de um elenco melhor.
“Acho que os jogadores percebem que o nível da concorrência aumentou e isso é bom porque podemos trocar. Nós fomos buscar esses jogadores mesmo para isso, para que entendam que temos que estar sempre na máxima força”, iniciou.
“Gostamos do ritmo alto, intenso, e para isso precisamos de concorrência. Jogadores com essa frescura é que dá mais opções”, completou Abel Ferreira.
Próximo jogo do Palmeiras, de Estêvão e Abel Ferreira
O time alviverde agora terá um confronto direto pela liderança do Brasileirão Série A. No domingo (1), enfrenta o Cruzeiro, a partir das 19h30 (horário de Brasília), no estádio Mineirão.
Dois pontos separam as equipes, sendo 22 a 20 para o Palmeiras. A expectativa é de estádio lotado. O palco esportivo pode ter uma presença superior a 50 mil pessoas.
O torneio tem outros postulantes ao título. O Flamengo está com 21 pontos e joga contra o Fortaleza, no domingo (1), às 18h30. O Red Bull Bragantino tem 20 pontos e encara o Vasco, no sábado (31), às 21h.
