Flamengo vence o Táchira, mas perde Arrascaeta para o primeiro jogo das oitavas da Libertadores

Precisando dos três pontos, o Flamengo não fez um jogo brilhante contra o Deportivo Táchira. Embora o clube venezuelano tenha acumulado cinco derrotas seguidas na Libertadores, a equipe de Filipe Luís esteve longe de promover um atropelo. Diante disso, a possibilidade de eliminação precoce só foi encerrada no segundo tempo através do gol de Léo Pereira.

Apesar da promessa de jogo fácil, o cenário acabou sendo totalmente oposto. Com pouca inspiração, o Flamengo encarou uma forte retranca do Táchira, que resistiu bravamente desde o apito inicial. Como não houve o gol de alívio na primeira etapa, os torcedores ficaram apreensivos e vaias foram ouvidas.

Depois do intervalo, o sofrimento dos torcedores se prolongou por 19 minutos. Em finalização digna de camisa 9, Léo Pereira aproveitou a falta cobrada por Luiz Araújo e abriu o placar, algo que trouxe um misto de felicidade, desafogo e euforia. Enquanto isso, das arquibancadas, Carlo Ancelotti observou o gol do zagueiro que não ficou fora da seleção brasileira.

Mesmo com a situação abrindo margem para mais gols, a vantagem do Flamengo não foi ampliada. Em contrapartida, o Táchira se lançou ao ataque e, nos minutos finais, uma “tragédia” foi evitada por meio de uma defesa salvadora de Rossi.

Por fim, o resultado acabou sendo suficiente para o clube carioca, com 11 pontos, assegurar o segundo lugar no Grupo C. Carrasco do Rubro-Negro no Maracanã, o Central Córdoba, derrotado pela LDU, vai para os playoffs da Sul-Americana.
