A noite de quarta-feira foi o penúltimo ato da última rodada da Libertadores. Restando definições em dois grupos, já é possível projetar boa parte do sorteio para as oitavas de final, marcado para segunda-feira, às 12h.
Os líderes dos grupos serão sorteados em partidas contra os segundos colocados. Os líderes, naturalmente, decidem os confrontos em casa.
Estão garantidos na primeira colocação: Estudiantes-ARG, River Plate-ARG, LDU-EQU, São Paulo, Internacional e Palmeiras.
Se classificaram como segundos colocados: Botafogo, Universitario-PER, Flamengo, Libertad-PAR, Atlético Nacional-COL e Cerro Porteño-PAR
Restam definições no grupo E, que tem Racing-ARG e Fortaleza podendo se classificar em primeiro e Atlético Bucaramanga-COL em segundo; e no grupo H, que tem Vélez Sarsfield-ARG e Peñarol-URU garantidos nas oitavas, mas ainda brigando pela liderança. A rodada se encerra nesta quinta-feira.
Além dos confrontos das oitavas, o sorteio definirá a chave completa do mata-mata da competição, com os caminhos de cada clube. Não há restrições de enfrentamento entre equipes do mesmo grupo ou do mesmo país.
