Craque Neto não imagina que Wesley, do Flamengo, será o lateral-direito titular da seleção brasileira. Nesta semana, o técnico Carlo Ancelotti divulgou sua primeira lista de convocados e, nela, a presença de Danilo, o qual o ídolo do Corinthians acredita que será escalado para os jogos contra Equador, dia 5, e Paraguai, 10, nas Eliminatórias da Copa do Mundo 2026.
Durante Os Donos da Bola, da sexta-feira (30), o apresentador que recebeu como convidado Maicon, especialista na função, assegurou que o camisa 43 será preterido neste primeiro momento até por conhecer melhor o ex-atleta da Juventus-ITA.
“É uma posição escassa no futebol, não tem mais como antes. Tanto que o Danilo vai ser o lateral-direito titular do Ancelotti. Vocês irão ver só. Ele vai botar Danilo, Marquinhos, Léo Ortiz e Alex Sandro. Aí tem Bruno Guimarães, Casemiro, Gerson e Raphinha. Na frente, Vinicius Júnior e Matheus Cunha. Pode ter certeza disso”, alegou Craque Neto.
Vale lembrar que Danilo tem atuado como zagueiro no Flamengo, o que em tese é um ponto positivo para Wesley. Além do flamenguista, Ancelotti convocou Vanderson, do Monaco-FRA.

Antes mesmo da convocação, Danilo viu com muito otimismo a contratação de Ancelotti. Para ele, trata-se de um profissional capaz de recuperar a autoestima perdida nos últimos anos.
“Ancelotti é um nome importante para se ter um comando, alguém em quem a gente pode se espelhar e estar com a gente batalhando. Espero que ele possa ajudar e se sentir bem na seleção brasileira, ser abraçado pelo nosso povo. E recuperar a alegria que tem faltado”.
Craque Neto aprova ausência de Neymar
Ancelotti surpreendeu ao não convocar Neymar. Segundo o ex-Real Madrid, a ideia era priorizar atletas em perfeitas condições físicas, o que não é o caso do atacante do Santos. O Craque Neto entendeu como um grande acerto a decisão do treinador.
“Feliz demais pela convocação. Legal demais o Léo Ortiz, Wesley, Gerson, Antony que está jogando muito no Betis, Vinicius Júnior, Hugo… e aí não convoca o tal do Batman, nem o Coringa e nem o tal do Neymar. Ancelotti, um beijo e você é nossa esperança. Tenho certeza de que tudo agora vai mudar”, disse Craque Neto.
Neymar não deu detalhes, mas admitiu que teve uma conversa com o treinador do Brasil. Após o jogo amistoso entre RB Leipzig e Santos, o camisa 10 atendeu à imprensa, mas procurou ‘fugir’ do assunto.
“Eu não vou falar sobre o que foi a conversa, desculpa.” A conversa foi entre eu e ele. A gente conversou sim, mas fica entre nós.”
