Craque Neto não poupou palavras ao analisar a atual fase da seleção brasileira, que não está jogando bem faz algum tempo e não consegue se impor diante dos adversários na América do Sul. Agora com Carlo Ancelotti, as esperanças se renovam para o ciclo da Copa do Mundo de 2026.
“Os caras não falam a verdade para você. É uma vergonha”, disparou o apresentador, que citou as polêmicas dos antigos presidentes da CBF, envolvidos em escândalos nos bastidores.
“Faz um bom tempo que a seleção não joga nada. Há um bom tempo que estamos sendo massacrados. A gente nunca deixou de se classificar (para a Copa do Mundo), e não vai deixar com você (Ancelotti), que é a última esperança que nós temos. Você é a única esperança”, cravou ele.
A maior campeã do mundo vive crise. Com 21 pontos, a equipe está em quarto nas Eliminatórias da Copa do Mundo e ainda não conseguiu classificação. Vale lembrar que a seleção foi goleada pela Argentina na última data Fifa, por 4 a 1.
Craque Neto critica a atual geração
O ex-meia criticou a falta de opções nas laterais da seleção nesses últimos anos. De fato, essas posições são carentes na atual geração e os treinadores recentes sofreram para encontrar soluções em muitos momentos.
“Alguém falou para você que a gente não tem lateral-direito faz uma década? Não tem lateral-esquerdo…”, reclamou Craque Neto.
Ele elogiou o futebol dos zagueiros Léo Ortiz, do Flamengo, e Marquinhos, do PSG, além do volante Casemiro, que está de volta após um período longe da seleção.
Ancelotti estreia na seleção brasileira
Depois de longa “novela”, o italiano acertou sua saída do Real Madrid e fechou com a seleção brasileira. Ele já iniciou os trabalhos e estreia em um jogo oficial nesta quinta-feira (5), contra o Equador, fora de casa, pelas Eliminatórias da Copa do Mundo.
Ancelotti é um dos treinadores mais vitoriosos da história do futebol mundial e chega para substituir Dorival Júnior, que não teve bom desempenho e foi demitido em março. A seleção vive um período ruim com treinadores e teve outros dois de forma interina após a Copa de 2022: Ramon Menezes e Fernando Diniz.
O experiente comandante foi contratado para ser o técnico no ciclo da Copa do Mundo de 2026.
