A ‘era Carlo Ancelotti’ já começou na seleção brasileira, com os primeiros treinamentos antes da estreia, agendada para esta quinta-feira (05), em Guayaquil, diante do Equador. E a Data Fifa de junho pode representar a classificação com antecedência da equipe para a Copa do Mundo, confirmando assim a máxima de nunca ter ficado fora de uma edição do torneio organizado pela Fifa.
Na condição de momento, o Brasil ocupa a quarta posição na tabela das Eliminatórias, com 21 pontos, vindo de tropeço acachapante para a Argentina na rodada passada. A matemática da seleção brasileira para os jogos contra Equador e Paraguai, este agendado para o dia 10, em Itaquera, é clara. O time de Carlo Ancelotti precisa de uma frente mínima de sete tentos em relação ao time que estiver com a sétima posição nas Eliminatórias. No cenário de momento, o time possui seis pontos de ‘gordura’ em relação à Venezuela, responsável por ocupar o posto da repescagem. Logo, o escrete precisa apenas ampliar essa frente, para confirmar o passaporte.
O Brasil se classifica antecipadamente se:
- Se vencer os dois jogos e a Venezuela tropeçar (derrota ou empate) contra Bolívia ou Uruguai
- Se vencer um jogo e empatar outro e a Venezuela conquistar apenas três pontos em seis disputados
- Se vencer um jogo e perder outro, mas a Venezuela não poderá vencer nenhum dos dois jogos, e a Bolívia pode ao máximo somar três pontos.
No início da noite desta segunda-feira (02), os três finalistas da Champions League, Marquinhos, Beraldo e Carlos Augusto, se apresentaram à seleção brasileira, em São Paulo. Os convocados fecham o grupo de 25 jogadores do técnico Carlo Ancelotti, e vão participar de uma movimentação com o treinador italiano e todo o elenco canarinho agendada para hoje, novamente tendo o CT Joaquim Grava, do Corinthians, como palco.
Copa do Mundo já tem Argentina garantida
Atual campeã do mundo, a Argentina foi a primeira seleção que disputa as Eliminatórias Sul-Americanas, que confirmou o passaporte na Copa do Mundo, antes mesmo de enfrentar e atropelar a seleção brasileira na última Data Fifa. No momento, a equipe de Lionel Messi e cia estão com 31 pontos somados em 42 pontos possíveis, ostentando um aproveitamento de 73%, com três triunfos consecutivos na competição.
O avanço antecipado, restando quatro rodadas para o término da competição, garantiu aos hermanos a participação na 19ª edição de Copas do Mundo. A Argentina só fica atrás de Alemanha (20 participações) e Brasil (22 participações), que ainda estão prestes a confirmar passaporte para o Mundial de 2026, que terá sede tripla (Estados Unidos, Canadá e México).
