O Botafogo quer reforços pontuais para a sequência deste ano. Afinal, como tentar manter a boa fase da última temporada, a diretoria entende que é muito importante ter grandes nomes, que entreguem o desempenho necessário, dentro das quatro linhas. Diante disso, a primeira contratação da próxima janela está definida.
Depois de algumas tentativas, com o Flamengo tentando dar um chapéu, o Glorioso fechou o contrato com Álvaro Montoro para a sequência da temporada, nesta terça-feira (3). O jogador, de 18 anos, deve ser integrado ao restante do elenco em breve, após assinar um contrato de cinco temporadas com o clube.
De acordo com as informações do Canal do TF, Montoro fez com que o Botafogo abrisse a carteira. No total, o clube teve que desembolsar 9 milhões de dólares (cerca de R$ 51 milhões), incluindo alguns bônus, ao Vélez Sarsfield, antigo clube do meio-campista.
O jovem vem sendo apontado como o próximo Thiago Almada, principalmente por sua semelhança com ex-jogador do Glorioso em relação ao estilo de jogos. Os dois também foram revelados pelo Vélez, da Argentina. No total, pelo clube ao longo deste ano, foram 19 confrontos, três gols e uma assistência.
Com prioridade ao Botafogo, após uma breve investida do Flamengo, o clube da Argentina entendeu que negociá-lo antes do fim do contrato, que se encerrava ao final da temporada, era a melhor opção. O Glorioso já vinha negociando com os argentinos há alguns dias e agora finalizou a transferência do atleta.
Torcida aprovou a contratação
Os torcedores do Glorioso ficaram animados com a chegada de Montoro, mas, principalmente, pelo sinal de investimento do clube em reforços para a sequência deste ano. “Finalmente, o clube mostrou que tem uma gestão profissional e que busca bons nomes no mercado“, apontou um internauta no X (antigo Twitter).
“Scouts do Botafogo estão acertando muito desde que viraram SAF, baita contratação”, comentou mais um. “Gostei bastante da contratação desse Montoro, ainda mais porque pode um bom retorno em venda futuramente”, ressaltou um terceiro.
Ainda teve bastante pessoas debochando do Flamengo, que não conseguiu a contratação de Álvaro Montoro, apesar de deixarem claro o interesse. “Flamenguinho perdeu a contratação dele pra um clubinho de bairro? Respeita nossa história”, rebateu um. “Flamengo não consegue fechar com mais ninguém kkkk Micos”, apontou outro.
