Zinho sinaliza como o Corinthians pode seguir na Copa do Brasil: “Palmeiras é o favorito”

Zinho, em projeção sobre Palmeiras e Corinthians, indicou uma condição decisiva no Dérbi pela Copa do Brasil. Embora o time alviverde seja favorito, o ex-jogador vê margem para o Timão, atual campeão paulista, seguir adiante no torneio. Isso porque o histórico do clássico, que reserva uma das principais rivalidades do mundo, tem chances de fornecer um aspecto de igualdade ao longo dos 180 minutos.

No caso do Corinthians, Zinho considera que a Copa do Brasil possui um peso maior para a temporada. Apesar do sorteio que reservou o reencontro de Flamengo e Atlético-MG, Zinho avalia que Palmeiras x Corinthians é o clássico de maior rivalidade nas oitavas da Copa do Brasil. Porém, analisando o nível das equipes, o comentarista não tem dúvidas de que existe uma vantagem atrelada aos comandados de Abel Ferreira.

“Eu nem acho que é o confronto mais equilibrado. A tradição e a rivalidade é a maior dos confrontos. Vai de São Paulo para o Brasil todo essa rivalidade. Mas, para mim, o Palmeiras é o favorito.”, prosseguiu.

Zinho destaca potencial do Palmeiras

Presente no Mundial de Clubes, o Palmeiras almeja uma campanha positiva e tem grandes chances de seguir rumo ao mata-mata. Embora tenha descartado o favoritismo, Zinho enxerga um grupo acessível, motivo pelo qual o Verdão pode sonhar com a liderança contra Porto, Inter Miami e Al Ahly.
