Na última segunda-feira (2), a seleção brasileira feminina encarou o Japão em mais um amistoso preparatório para a Copa América Feminina 2025. Então, mesmo em um jogo difícil e disputado, a seleção brasileira conseguiu fazer uma grande atuação e venceu as japonesas.
A primeira parte foi bem amarrada, tendo poucas oportunidades de gols para os dois lados, mas com as japonesas um pouco melhor na partida. Então, logo no primeiro lance do segundo tempo, Saike colocou o Japão na frente.
Porém, o Brasil conseguiu empatar pouco tempo depois. Após cobrança de escanteio de Duda Sampaio, Ishikawa mandou contra o próprio patrimônio e deixou tudo igual. Então, após algumas alterações de Arthur Elias, Jhonson foi para campo e logo de cara teve uma grande oportunidade. Assim, após receber na entrada da área, a atacante do Corinthians bateu tirando da goleira e fez o 2×1, fechando o placar da partida.

Após a partida, Jhonson, atacante de apenas 19, que estava fazendo a sua estreia pela seleção brasileira feminina, falou sobre o momento que estava vivendo na sua carreira. Então, a atleta disse que estava vivendo um sonho e agradeceu o treinador Arthur Elias.
“Vivo um sonho. Quero agradecer a Deus, à comissão técnica que acreditou no meu futebol, a todo o elenco. Nem tenho palavras. Foi o Arthur Elias que me levou da base para o profissional do Corinthians, que me deu oportunidades. Jamais vou esquecer disso”, comentou a atleta
A jogadora também destacou o momento que teve ao lado de Marta, que após a partida chamou a atleta para tirar uma foto ainda no gramado, dizendo que ela é a rainha do futebol e que estava muito feliz em ser escolhida pela maior jogadora de todos os tempos do futebol feminino.
Próximo jogo do Brasil
Agora Jhonson volta para o Corinthians novamente, onde tem a disputa do Paulistão Feminino e do Brasileirão, para mostrar que pode ganhar uma vaga na equipe que vai disputar a Copa América Feminina. Então, a atleta pode ser uma das convocadas do Brasil para o amistoso contra a França no dia 27 de junho, às 16h10 (horário de Brasília), em solo francês.
