Senzační jízda Komety dokonána. Brno se koupe v hokejové euforii potřetí v moderní historii, extraligový titul z edice 2025 je přitom ten nejcennější z nich. Zatímco v letech 2017 a 2018 vedení brněnského klubu stvořilo s hráči jako Erat, Zaťovič, Němec nebo Kvapil Galacticós, tentokrát Kometa šokovala všechny i sebe samu, vždyť v předchozích čtyřech letech nepostoupila ani přes čtvrtfinále. Ve středu nad ránem ale do Brna dovezla Masarykův pohár, přestože se jí do cesty postavily dvě obří a movitější váhy Sparta a Pardubice. Brňané ovšem v sedmizápasových bojích dokázali, že možná nemají nejkvalitnější a nejdražší hráče, zato nejlepší tým ano.
