No próximo sábado (10), às 18h30, o Corinthians encara o Mirassol pela 8ª rodada do Brasileirão. A principal novidade para essa partida é o retorno de Diego Palacios. Sem espaço com Ramón Diáz, o lateral-esquerdo poderá ser opção de Dorival Júnior para este jogo.
Por outro lado, José Martínez é desfalque confirmado. Porém pelo menos por hora, não é nada que preocupa o torcedor do Timão. Isso porque a nota divulga pelo clube é que o volante irá passar por um procedimento cirúrgico dentário de emergência.

Diego Palacios volta a ser opção após mais de três meses da sua última partida pelo Corinthians. Seu último jogo foi na vitória alvinegra contra o Noroeste pelo placar de 2 a 1.
Com apenas quatro partidas desde que foi contratado pelo clube em 2024, o retorno do lateral-esquerdo acontece após Dorival Júnior deixar claro que iria dar oportunidade ao atleta.
“Eu conhecia um pouco mais os outros três, por isso que, no momento de uma chegada, inclusive expliquei isso ao próprio Palacios, eu vou optar por aqueles que eu já conheço um pouco mais”, afirmou o treinador na coletiva após o empate contra o América de Cali.
