Autor de um dos gols da vitória do Palmeiras sobre o Red Bull Bragantino, Murilo foi elogiado pelo ex-atacante Muller. Em sua avaliação, o defensor do Verdão precisa ser o titular absoluto na defesa do time paulista por sua competência e regularidade na posição.
Durante o programa Mesa Redonda, o comentarista ratificou as qualidades técnicas do atleta palmeirense e entende que o mesmo merece uma oportunidade na seleção brasileira.
“O Murilo, para mim, tem que ser titular. Tem que ser ele e mais um, ele é muito bom. Desde o ano passado eu falo isso, é regular. Um zagueiraço, nível de seleção brasileira“, disse Muller.

No jogo anterior, Murilo também balançou as redes no confronto diante do Bolívar, em casa, pela fase de grupos da Libertadores. O zagueiro celebrou a fase ‘artilheira’.

O trabalho de Abel Ferreira também rendeu um destaque especial de Muller. Há cinco anos comandando o Verdão, o português agora tem em mãos um elenco muito mais qualificado que nas temporadas anteriores. Desde a final do Paulistão, parece ter encontrado uma forma sólida em todos os setores.
Segundo Muller, é disparado o melhor técnico em atividade no futebol brasileiro.
“O Abel sabe tirar e repor, isso é importante demais.” Além de competente, sabe como repor as peças de reposição. Hoje, saem cinco jogadores e a regularidade é a mesma, é dinâmica de jogo. Fica tão bom quanto”, destacou.
