Auf ihrer Asien-Tour hat sich die Mannschaft von Manchester United kräftig blamiert. Im Freundschaftsspiel gegen eine All-Star-Auswahl in Kuala Lumpur verloren die Engländer gegen das ASEAN All Stars-Team verdient mit 1:0.
Doch bereits vor dem Spiel musste das Team von Trainer Ruben Amorim in den sozialen Medien heftige Sticheleien von den Fans über sich ergehen lassen. Auslöser war ein kurzer Videoclip, der im Internet viral geht.
Darin zu sehen: Vier United-Stars – Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt, Patrick Dorgu und Ayden Heaven – die in einem offenen Bus durch Kuala Lumpur cruisen.
