Segundo a Gazeta Esportiva, Dorival Júnior tem tido atenção com os atletas da categoria de base do Timão e monitorando nomes que possam ter espaço futuro no time. Quatro deles foram chamados para trabalhar no CT Joaquim Grava, na última quinta-feira (29), os meio-campistas Dieguinho e Luiz Guiherme Bahia, e os atacantes Gui Negão e Nicollas.
O quarteto é visto com bons olhos pelo futebol corintiano, sendo todos atletas que tem chamado a atenção no time sub-20 alvinegro, vice-campeão da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior desta temporada. A performance destes dentro de campo os colocam como candidatos a ter espaço futuro na equipe profissional.
Planos mudaram
No entanto, não era para, neste momento Dorival trazer muitos atletas da base; Em sua chegada ao Parque São Jorge, o treinador não indicava que daria muito espaço para os jogadores vindos dos níveis de formação. Mas, ‘forçado’ pela atual fase do Corinthians na temporada, poderá ter que dar espaço estes atletas, em meio a uma série de lesões e atuações inconstantes dos titulares.
O quarteto já estaria sendo analisado para, pelo menos, algum deles, possa estar relacionado neste domingo (1/6), na partida contra o Vitória, pelo Brasileirão. Dorival terá até o sábado (31) para definir qual ou quais destes atletas poderão ter a chance de até jogar a partida, que se torna de suma importância para o time depois da queda na competição continental.
