Mais uma vez Luis Zubeldía se vê em momento de pressão no São Paulo. A derrota no último final de semana para o Bahia deixou o time ainda Brasileirão, além de piorar ainda mais o recorde do treinador na competição
Com o tropeço no final de semana, o comandante são-paulino chegou a sua 14ª derrota comandando o Tricolor em jogos da Série A. E o aproveitamento do argentino em jogos da competição tem deixado muito a desejar, ficando abaixo dos 50% de aproveitamento desde que foi contratado pelo time do MorumBis.
Aproveitamento negativo
Ao todo, Zubeldía treinou o São Paulo em 46 partidas válidas pelo Campeonato Brasileiro. Sua campanha pela competição é, além das citadas 14 derrotas, 18 vitórias e 14 empates. Na soma geral, segundo os dados da Gazeta Esportiva, um aproveitamento de 49,3% para o treinador em jogos no período em que comanda o time
Se forem consideradas apenas as partidas nas quais esteve no banco de reservas, estas sendo 40, a campanha não tem uma melhora substancial, tendo vencido 16 vezes, com 11 empates e 13 derrotas, com o aproveitamento ainda abaixo de 50% (49,16%). Em 2025, o argentino tem enfrentado número ainda piores. Em 11 jogos, venceu apenas dois, além de ter empatado seis e ter perdido outros três.
Problemas em 2025
O aproveitamento do São Paulo neste Brasileirão é de 36,6%, o que afeta demais o desempenho do time dentro de campo. O Tricolor se encontra em 13º lugar, com 12 pontos, ainda sem conseguir se aproximar das primeiras posições e começando a ver a ameaça da zona de rebaixamento se aproximar do time antes da pausa para a Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa.
Uma chance de poder chegar ao período de paralisação das competições com um aproveitamento um tanto mais positivo tanto para o time quanto para o treinador virá no próximo dia 12, quando o Tricolor recebe no MorumBis o Vasco.
