Joshua Kimmich analysiert die 0:2-Niederlage gegen Frankreich bei RTL: „Gerade, wenn man die erste Halbzeit sieht, müssen wir nach sechs Minuten 3:0 führen. Dann gehen wir unglücklich in die Pause. Wir haben zu früh die Geduld verloren und die Struktur verloren. Wir haben einen Konter nach dem nächsten gefangen. Wir haben zu viele Fehler gemacht. Für die Franzosen war es ein perfektes Spiel.“
Kimmich weiter: „Wenn man sich die erste Halbzeit anschaut und man ehrlich ist: Die Franzosen hatten zu Anfang gar keinen Bock zu gewinnen – und gewinnen dann trotzdem.“

Doch die Hoffnung bleibt: Im Sommer 2024 steigt die WM in den USA, Kanada und Mexiko. Noch gibt es Zeit, die Wende zu schaffen. In der Qualifikation geht es gegen die Slowakei, Nordirland und Luxemburg.
