Róger Guedes no Cruzeiro: Nicola diz que jogador é ‘bem avaliado’ no clube, mas salário de R$ 5 milhões atrapalha

Nos últimos dias, o nome do atacante Róger Guedes foi especulado no Cruzeiro, que busca alguns reforços pontuais para o segundo semestre, visando a possibilidade de brigar pelo título do Campeonato Brasileiro e da Sul-Americana. Atualmente com 28 anos, o jogador está no Al-Rayyan, do Catar, onde atua desde 2023.

Em seu canal no Youtube, o jornalista Jorge Nicola comentou sobre essa possibilidade, dizendo que foi apurar para saber se havia chance do negócio acontecer. Então, o comunicador disse que a Raposa vê jogador com bons olhos e entende que seria um ótimo reforço, já que o clube mineiro deve buscar um atacante com essas características.

Porém, Nicola deixa claro que a contratação dificilmente vai acontecer. Ele informa que não tem negociações neste momento e que os valores afastam Róger Guedes do Cruzeiro. O jornalista disse que o clube brasileiro teria que pagar mais de 10 milhões de euros para tirar ele do Catar, além de um salário próximo ao que ele recebe por lá, que é de R$ 5 milhões mensais. E, esses valores são inviáveis neste momento para a Raposa.

Retorno ao Brasil

Para Nicola, Róger não tem a intenção de retornar ao futebol brasileiro neste momento, o que também faria com que ele não abaixasse o salário. A tendência é que ele fique mais uma temporada no Catar, onde é o principal jogador do time e um dos grandes nomes da liga catari. Então, essa volta ao Brasil pode acontecer na metade de 2026, mas há outros clubes interessados também.

Em entrevista recente ao “ge”, o atacante revelou que recebeu sondagens recentemente de Flamengo, Atlético-MG, Cruzeiro e Corinthians. Ele deixou claro o seu carinho pelo Timão e que quando decidir retornar ao seu país, deve dar uma prioridade ao clube paulista, não descartando também as outras possibilidades.

Atual treinador do Cruzeiro, Leonardo Jardim já trabalhou com Róger Guedes, na qual o próprio atacante revelou ter amizade, na entrevista dada ao “ge”. Eles estiveram juntos no Al-Rayyan, entre 2023 e 2024. Inclusive, foi o técnico português que levou o atacante para o clube do Catar. Ele havia acabado de chegar por lá, tendo o brasileiro como um de seus primeiros reforços.

Esse, então, poderia ser um ponto positivo para o negócio acontecer, nem que seja ano que vem. Por outro lado, vale lembrar que Róger Guedes já jogou no rival Atlético-MG, em 2018. Não foi uma passagem longa, mas o suficiente para criar uma certa identificação, o que poderia dificultar a contratação.

Próximo jogo do Cruzeiro

O Cruzeiro volta a campo nesta quinta-feira (12), diante do Vitória, fora de casa, às 19h, em jogo válido pela 12ª rodada do Brasileirão. Atualmente, a Raposa é vice-líder da competição e depende de uma vitória simples para assumir a liderança. O primeiro colocado é o Flamengo, que teve seu jogo adiado por conta da preparação para o Mundial de Clubes.
